Piñato
These are peanuts (whether whole or chopped) that are bonded by caramelized sugar is a local candy known by different names such as bandi in Western Visayas, piñato in Eastern Visayas. If you want the English term, they are called "Peanut Brittle" they are surprisingly easy to make aswell. As personal experience, I've eaten these during trips here in the Cebu and are suprisingly good and as a plus, they are very cheap.
We get it, they're good so where can I get it?
You could make it but even if you manage to make it, the ones that you buy manually offer a whole different experience when you eat it. These are available in online shops (e.g Shopee) or if you could, you could buy them manually at Western Visayas and Eastern Visayas but personally as I know, I would recommend buying at Cebu and its scattered around the
province.
